As with the Fin & Rudder, the soft balsa fairings were getting too beat-up by by being moved around so much, so I added some fiberglass to the tips and elevator leading edge. Also like the Fin & Rudder, the tips got two layers of fiberglass each, while the elevator leading edge got only a coat of resin.
