I decided to flip the bolts around that hold the bracing wire brackets so that the nuts faced "in". The reason was mainly so that the elevator would fit better (no gap in the leading edge to clear the nuts). I also wanted to be able to check the tightness of the bolts that hold the bracing wire brackets to the front spar. In order to do this, I had to cut small holes in the skin of the underside of the stabilizer. Then I flipped the bolts around.
