Cowling, Part 3

Well, that didn't work out so well. The idea was to fill cover the styrofoam with a thin layer of plaster, then paint it (to seal the pores in the plaster), then wax it (so that the fiberglass could be removed easily). The problem was that the styrofoam was pretty much the exact size and shape that I wanted it, so the plaster ended up being spread way too thin. This caused it to crack and crumble, so really, the only thing the plaster was good for was filling in the gaps between the blocks of styrofoam. I guess I'll just have to do it the hard way.
