Well, that was rather unpleasant. It seemed that every time I found and fixed an "irregularity" in the cowl another one (or sometimes more) popped up. Some of my fixes even introduced new "irregularities". I finally realized that if I kept striving for absolute perfection, I'd never get off the ground. Hopefully, all the bumps and dips and waves in the fiberglass will be invisible once the plane is painted (although I'm sure I'll still be able to see all of them)!
Actually, the cowl isn't quite done yet. I still have to make the cooling air exit hole on the bottom, but I need to fit the engine exhaust stacks first. I also need to figure out how I'm going to mount the landing light. And I think those air inlet holes are just a little bit too big.
