When the time came to safety-wire the turnbuckles, I ran into a little problem. AC 43-13 clearly shows how to install the safety wire, but it says to pass it through the eye at the end of the turnbuckle before wrapping around the barrel. Most of the turnbuckles didn't have an accessible eye on one end in order to be able to do this, so I came up with this solution. I made a clevis pin out of an AN-3 bolt, and passed the safety wire though the holes in the clevis pin. (It's the right side of the bottom turnbuckle in this picture.)
