I'm pretty much scraping the bottom of the barrel, looking for stuff to do while waiting for my cylinder heads to come back from the machine shop. I'd heard of a plane having issues with nose wheel shimmy on one of it's first flights, and that balancing the nose wheel would have gone a long way towards preventing that from happening. So, I decided to balance all three of my wheels. Interestingly, the nose wheel took twice as many weights to balance as the mains did. The nose wheel took 2 ounces, and the mains took 1 ounce each.
